An environmentally friendly product, cork is originated from the bark of cork trees. The peeling of the bark does not harm the tree. Once it is carefully peeled off, the bark then re-grows. Because cork is made up primarily of air cells, it is a great insulator and is warm on your feet. It resists insects and fire. Cork comes in a variety of earth-tones and has several different patterns. Traditionally glued down in tile form and finished on-site, cork now comes in a floating plank form which creates ease of installation and maintenance.
